NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Course

Minnesota Concealed Carry Course

Our Wisconsin concealed carry course covers the requirements for residents of the State of Wisconsin to obtain their concealed carry permit. The course consists of firearms safety, safe carry considerations, legal implications of CCW, CCW licensing as well as practical skills, shooting qualification and a written exam. The course is approximately 6 hours in length after which students are given a certificate which allows them to obtain their concealed carry license through the state. 


Course Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must not prohibited from possessing a firearm under federal or state law.

Must not prohibited by a court order from possessing a firearm.

Must be a Wisconsin resident as indicated by a current and valid Wisconsin driver's license or identification card or is active military stationed in Wisconsin.


Cost $100 per person

Minnesota Concealed Carry Course

Our Minnesota concealed carry course covers the requirements for residents of the State of Minnesota, as well as non-residents, to obtain their concealed carry permit. The course consists of firearms safety, safe carry considerations, legal implications of CCW, CCW licensing as well as practical skills, shooting qualification and a written exam. The course is approximately 6-8 hours in length after which students are given a certificate which allows them to obtain their concealed carry license through the state. 


Course Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must not be prohibited from possessing a firearm under Minnesota Statute 624.714.

Must not be listed in the criminal gang investigation system.

Must be a resident of the county from which you are requesting a permit, if you reside in Minnesota. 

Non-residents may apply to any Minnesota county sheriff.

NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Course

This 8 hour course introduces the student to the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely. Through this course, the student will learn about pistol parts and operation, ammunition, gun safety, pistol shooting fundamentals, and pistol shooting activities. The Basic Pistol Shooting Course will also help prepare the student for participation in other NRA courses. The entire course is instructor led. Course consists of the following:

  • Gun Safety Rules
  • Types of Pistols
  • Understanding a Revolver & a Semi-Automatic Pistol
  • Ammunition
  • The Fundamentals of Pistol Shooting
  • Shooting Positions
  • Pistol Shooting Errors
  • Clearing Pistol Stoppages
  • Cleaning and Maintenance
  • Selecting Pistols, Ammunition & Accessories
  • Maintaining Your Skills

Cost: $100 per person
